Upon arriving in a foreign city I’m sure many people have asked themselves at some point: “What are the local hot spots? How can I experience the real life in this city? Where is the fun local nightlife?”. Like-a-local is a service, designed to connect you with local people and places in all major cities around the world. It allows you to act, eat and sleep like-a-local.

Various activities are organised around three themes:

LIVE! Live in unique places; from a houseboat in Amsterdam to a loft in Barcelona

GO! Meet a local and be surprised by their secret addresses in the city

and EAT! Dine with a local at their home, taste and experience the local atmosphere

You can create your own experience ranging from one single activity to a complete Like-a-local weekend. Sounds great - next time I’m going on a city trip, I’m sure to try it myself!
