Working in Europe
James, Cale and Jess have been in Brussels running a two-day training seminar for Design Vlaanderen, a collaboration for designers, innovators, analysts and service managers from across Belgium.
The Engine team gave a seminar on service design that goes into our methods; projects and viewpoints on the industry.
We will be running a similar seminar for the DMI in April.
The growth of service design and design innovation all around the world is very important to us, and it’s amazing what we can already see, especially at the Service Design Network’s (SDN) annual conference last year in Madeira.
Speaking of Portugal…
Alex and Tom have been in Lisbon recently getting up to speed with another phase of our work with the Portuguese Airport Authority (ANA).
They have been conducting the research and generative workshops that are so important to what we do, and that ensure we keep the users, frontline staff and internal teams in the forefront of our minds and designs.
