Museum services workshop

Cale spent two days in Barcelona facilitating a Service Design workshop with 20 masters students from Design Management and Interior Design for commercial spaces programmes at the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED).

The workshop helped students to identify and build an understanding of the range of services that they use on a daily basis and provided an introduction to the service design practice. Through a series of case studies, that focused on design research, students were introduced to Engines unique approach to service design. They were then challenged to do a bit of design research and development themselves with the Museum of Natural Sciences as their client.
