Life chances in Southwark

Our work to develop a series of design ethnographies through ‘days in the life’ spent with people living in poverty in the London Borough of Southwark is almost complete. This ongoing research is designed to help council staff see services through the eyes of those that use them.

Working with the team at Southwark Council, we’re using the rich stories that are emerging as evidence to inspire thinking about how the creation and provision of services might be adapted or rethought in order to support the complex lives of families in Southwark.

This is all part of a process of redefining the interface and the interactions between the people we spoke to and the Council itself. More on this later in the year.
