Korean Institute of Design Promotion service design seminar

This week we’re hosting a 5 day service design seminar for 15 designers on behalf of the Korean Institute of Design Promotion (KIDP).

The aim is for the participants to learn about service design, the central themes that make it different from other disciplines and the techniques involved through hands-on experience. It’s about learning by doing, not just listening, and we want to help the participants to be challenged and inspired.

As part of the course the designers will work on 3 briefs on mobility:
- CITY COMMUTING How might we ease congestion on routes into Canary Wharf and improve the commuting experience?
- FAMILY MOBILITY How might we better support parents on the public transport network in London?
- SUSTAINABLE TRAVELLING How can we reduce the ever growing strain on the London public transport network with alternative, sustainable options?

The seminar is being led by Ross, with support from Aimee, Paul and Theo.
