Engine to speak at Passenger Terminal Expo
The Passenger Terminal Expo is in Copenhagen, 29th - 31st March. It is a unique event that provides a powerful international platform for bringing together the airport and airline sectors to interact and share common issues, goals and solutions about the airport industry, with a particular focus on the terminal.
We have a vast experience in the aviation industry, and Tom Wynne-Morgan will be speaking at the conference about our work with Aeroportos de Portugal (ANA), in a talk entitled ‘Towards service excellence: from infrastructure provider to service brand.’ This covers the major collaborative project between ANA and Engine Service Design to build ‘ANAWay’ a passenger service capability and suite of airport services, from retail to family support services. More can be found here.
We have also worked on major projects with Virgin Atlantic Airways and British Airport Authority (BAA), ranging from strategy to the design and delivery of new innovative check-in, security, retail, information provision and on board services and products.
“The aviation business is changing rapidly, and the airport business needs to change to cope”.
Francisco Pita, Deputy Manager of Lisbon Airport.
The air industry continues to be highly competitive, necessitating a shift of focus from one based predominantly on B2B relationships and infrastructure, to more passenger-centred activity to grow brand advocacy, redefine relationships and develop new, sustainable business lines. In the new age, ‘owning the passenger’ and providing excellent service quality are becoming critical to ensure profitable and sustainable growth. This is exactly where we are delivering value to our clients.
