Kate Ivey-Williams

Kate is on a placement year as part of her Masters in European Design at the Glasgow School of Art. As part of her MEDes she has studied in Germany at the Koln International School of Design, where she specialised in Service Design, and in Finland at Aalto University of Art and Design, studying Industrial and Strategic Design.

Kate has recently led a project for the charity Finn Church Aid and supported a new social enterprise start up at Sidekick Studios. She is passionate about using her design skills to address endemic societal and environmental problems. She believes qualitative user-centered research is fundamental in creating the right frameworks for positive behavioural change.
